Hi,

I just installed another GTX 780 for my PC and I also upgraded my PSU to HX850 Corsair. Is this PSU enough for Gtx 780 SLI? I picked this one by researching and everyone said it should be good.
I ran some games like Diablo3, Batman Arkham City and they were fine. But when I tried 3Dmark 11, my PC got shutdown totally and I couldn't even turn it on. I had to restart the PSU to get my PC back on. Is the PSU too weak ?

P/S: both of my Gtx 780 are factory superclocked, I haven't done any OC.
My other specs: i5-4670k
16GB RAM and Asus Z97 Motherboard

HX850 belongs in tier 1 or tier 2. Its a quality psu.

That being said, there is a chance its defective, as 850W is enough for your build. Try running furmark to test your gpus (and draw a lot of power from psu) to see if you get the same issue.

HX 850 is a great choice.

If you run 3dmark again will ur computer turn off again? If it doesn't, it could have been just a weird glitch that one time.
