Hello i have an Asus M5A99X EvO R2.0 and i need to acces my bios, but my monitor/tv only supports vga or hdmi and my video card does not support vga (R9 290) and i cant see properly in the bios when using hdmi, it shows only the clock on the left upper corner while i move my mouse it start showing but if i move again it overrides the image 
So if i use an hdmi to vga converter would it work or i need to use dvi-d?
