I am doing my first build and I just wanted to see if my build was good, if there was anything I should look out for when I'm building (like anything in the case that I should be looking out for that might potentially damage a certain component such as the motherboard that doesn't work with that part), and just tips on building a pc and the components that I selected.

CPU is in another place because for some reason pcparpicker didn't show the price that was listed on newegg so it's a separate link

I would...
I would only change the power supply - the Corsair CX 430W is way overpriced and not very good. However, you do have a very low-power system so a budget power supply would suffice. The EVGA 500W power supply is a budget power supply you can look into. Others on this forum will recommend something like an XFX TS 550W power supply, which is a higher quality power supply for $65 but of course costs more. Considering how low-powered the 750Ti is, this power supply will work perfectly fine as well as another good not-too-cheap power supply.

I would also recommend the MSI H81M-E33 motherboard so you can save money and get the 8 GB RAM.

Thanks! Is there anything that I should be looking out for when I'm building my PC?

I would suggest switch to an http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z87pro Comes with a really nice dual band wifi built in plus bluetooth, SLI functions, better onboard audio, and more features. $85 you can skip that wifi card then and save money.
