MOBO - Asus P5G41T-M LX3
CPU - Intel Pentium E6600
GPU - NVIDIA GT220
Memory DDR 3.

I was trying to replace the ram of this "old" computer. My current memory is a DDR3 2GB ram. I upgraded it to a 4GB ram.

I replaced it with Zeppelin 4GB / 1333 / 5128) memory .Now my computer wont boot. but when I revert it the old memory. Its working. Is the ram the problem ? I tried it to another computer and seems to work fine ?

I tried it in another motherboard ( gigabyte h55m s2v) , its boots up until the bios , part then it reset again)

Any solutions in this? I found some thread also about this with same MOBO , Asus P5G41T-M LX3 replacement / adding of new Memory.

Is the ram the main problem?

Note : the computer wont even start (I mean the beeping sound when you start the computer didnt happened , when I try to insert the new Memory)

Thank You :D

My old RAM which is 2GB 1333MHZ seems to working fine, I just want to replace it with the new Zeppelin 4GB / 1333 ram. (Im not trying to put both memory sticks together ) just the new 4GB memory is fine for me. since I'm running a 32 bit OS. just wanted a little upgrade :) I will try it by the way. But the problem is , the computer wont even start , when I inserted the new memory . I cant go to the BIOS section. I tried to put both of my OLD memory and new , it wont start . then I removed the new ones. It start. Any problems with this? The new RAM is faulty ?

Solution
Most likely the new memory is incompatible with the system.

Could try clearing CMOS (with the power off, of course) and try the new memory again.

If there are continuing problems, then the new memory is likely to be incompatible.

Using memory search feature at most memory manufacturer websites, search for compatible memory for your system.
