I've been looking into advice for building a computer for graphic design (3D and 2D both), and have found some good pointers (importance of the graphics card etc.).
However, I've two problems. Firstly, I've never attempted building a computer before in my life. Secondly, I'm on something of a budget. So, I've come here hoping that maybe someone will take pity on me and help me out a bit!

My budget is about $900~$1100. I'm hoping to be able to use both of my current monitors (both are DVI), and need a HDMI socket (is that the right word?). I think that's about it for the requirements, really.

Any and all advice would be much appreciated!
