USB mouse disconnecting and reconnecting

After searching for answers for ages I've found nothing on this. Help!

If I leave my mouse for about 60 seconds or more without moving it, when I come back and move it it'll disconnect and reconnect itself. Sometimes it won't reconnect, I have to unplug it and plug it back in.

About 75% of the time, it'll disconnect both my second monitor and the mouse together, and they'll both reconnect themselves. It's running HDMI through a separate graphics card to my primary monitor.

These are the only two peripherals I'm having problems with, nothing else ever disconnects. I've tested taking out the second GPU and running both monitors off my 750ti which makes the monitor disconnecting problem disappear, but the mouse still disconnects.

I assumed it'd be something to do with USB power saving options as it seems to be a time-based thing but I turned USB power saving settings off and it's changed nothing?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated, this is really getting on my nerves!

Thanks in advance.

I can't find any drivers for it? But in the reviews there's nothing about people having similar problems

I can't access this webpage since im on a work laptop but check here:

I also tried TeckNet's website and for some reason didn't have that mouse listed. Have you tried other USB ports by any chance? Maybe a faultly port?

I installed that driver but it wouldn't let me change anything as it wouldn't recognise my mouse.

Yeah I've tried every USB port, USB 2 and 3, the same result no matter which I use.

Thanks for your help

It's not the mouse, it works fine when I use it on my laptop.

What's strange is when it disconnects, the lights inside the mouse stay on and react when it's being moved around like it would do if it was functioning normally. I just can't work out where the problem lies.
