Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs. PLEASE HELP!

Solution
Both of the 970 MBs will be fine for either fx6300 or fx8320, because you need the MB has more power phase count for the fx8320. You don't need update the BIOS at all.
970 gaming cpu support list http://www.msi.com/support/mb/970-GAMING.html#support-cpu you need the 1st version BIOS
GA-970A-UD3P (rev. 1.0) http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=4717 1st version too
or (rev. 2.0) http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=5194 1st version too

Change the MB to Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P for your FX8320. Also I recommend get other cooler like hyper evo 212 instead the tx3.
For the fx8320 you don't need to update the BIOS.

The ASRock 990Fx Extreme9 is a good solution, however the supplied version of the usb drivers are broken, you'll have to obtain those drivers from Etron's site. Other than that minor issue, I've had no problem with this board and it overclocks smoothly. It is built to handle the FX line all the way up to the 9590 so you won't have to worry about any incompatibilities.
