Unigine Valley Benchmark 1.0 BAD SCORE with a very good computer

Sorry if the category is misleading, But i have a computer with very good specs. brand new and bought from amazon, that gets a bad score.

i want to know is this problem is a software problem or a hardware problem?
my graphic card is sapphire dual-x r9 270x but the score must be 2000 and because my brother's computer is the exact same as mine, just the ram(or what ever you call it) is g.skill trident-x.

UPDATE:
My brother had his preset on extreme only and not extreme hd but when i tried to do it in extreme hd, he got the same score as me,i got just a little bit better than him which is because my cpu is overclocked.

That depends on what gpu you have. If it's an r9 270x then that score looks about right.

The unigine valley benchmark is very gpu intensive and your score is very similar to other r9 270x scores. The only thing I can think of is it a possibility your brother is running the benchmark at lower settings and not at the extreme preset?

I just ran it with my rig, 8320 over clocked to 4.6ghz and a gtx 760 I got 1584 on the extreme preset which is slightly better than your score which it should be. Your brothers score doesn't sound right, there is nothing wrong with your computer based on that score.

What settings? The 270x shouldnt get 2000 on Extreme HD. I suspect your brother was either running lower resolution or no AA.
