Dual Monitor Stand Compatability?

Could my ASUS VG248QE monitor be able to go on another stand, specifically the "Planar 997-5253-00 Black Dual Monitor Stand for LCD Displays?" I dont know if LCD LED Monitors are made with universal connectors or if i should know which stands will work with which monitors? Thanks, Jesse.

For dual monitors, you also have to ensure that it actually goes wide enough for the two monitors.

I have a very nice Ergotron dual stand. Came originally with 2 x 22" HP monitors. One of them died, and I replaced it with a 23.5" ASUS.
Adding another 23.5" ASUS to match would be about 0.5" too wide.

Okay. Online, it said it fits up to 24in screens. Do you think it will? The stand is here:
