I need opinions I have a ASRock X79 Extreme9 ATX LGA2011 Motherboard
Its going south on me and warranty is not good anymore
I was thinking of replacing it with Asus P9X79 Deluxe
I want use the cpu, memory and everything else that's working fine
My question is will the memory G.SKILL Ares Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C11Q-32GAR
will it work with it for that matter will all my other item work with it

Basically, I suggest before buying any component that either could have a compatibility issue or costs a lot you should find the user manual and read it.

The only real question here is if the RAM would be compatible, because both the CPU and motherboard are LGA-2011 instead of LGA-2011-3. FWIW, all the other stuff would also be compatible, particularly as there's no RAID configuration to worry about.

The manual doesn't state that this memory set is on the Qualified Vendor List. However, it does list other 2133MHz DIMMs from G.Skill that are compatible for 2, 4, 6, or 8 DIMM configurations so I think the odds are extremely high it will run just fine.
