Hello Everyone.. as the title says want to try crossfire..
one Power Supply which is already in consideration is FSP EPILSON 900W (80+) its on a deal like 60$.
I know 900W supply is more than enough for these cards but i have seen somewhere that AMP are also critical specially for Multi-GPU stuff.
it has 4 12V rails (V1 = 20A, V2 = 25A, V3 = 20A, V4 = 25A).. is that enough? and also if you guys could suggest me a better option/Supply.. any help would be great.. Thanks. :)

Solution

Minimum Recommended PSU for 6950 Crossfire is 700W. So consider this 750W quality PSU with 62A on single +12V rail:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Power Supply: Corsair CSM 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular...

x2 6950's .. 49 $ Each.. i think its good value for money +they scale well and crossfire performance is close to 6990 @1080P (I Had R9 280X but he is in good place now RIP, waiting for AMD 3xxx)..........

On Power Supply .. Max Combine wattage on 12V is "675 Watts"

When you're going for Multi-GPU setup, it's better to go for single +12V rail that has beefy Amps like this one has.

The Corsair CSM 750W 80+ Gold that I suggested has a Max Combine wattage of 744W on +12V rail.

None of those four +12V rails of FSP meet the required Amps for 6950. As the single 6950 need a minimum 30A on a single +12V rail. The Corsair that I suggested has pretty good 65A on single +12V rail that would provide enough power for the 6950 Crossfire GPUs.[/b]

Cheers!
