I have two Hard drives on my computer , I plugged it and it works fine, I have limited power supply cable thats why I didnt plug the DVD-RW(and I dont use this DVD-RW often) So I another hard drive. And It works fine , I can use two hard drives .

until I started to resolve this problem upgrade compatibility with this ram.
(http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2619817/asus-p5g41t-lx3-ram-replacement-addition.html) <-- which is not resolve yet :(
I get the CMOS out , and started again (unluckily it didnt work out) so i decided to put the old memory back,

but when I started to boot again" Bootmgr missing" problem occur.

then I tried to resolve it again . I plugged the DVD-RW back hard drive and it works? (Note both DVD-RW and 2nd Hard Drive had different sata cable ,(but only 1 power supply cable)

but I'll just wanted it to work with two hard drives , just like before I restarted with (cmos removal)

Help me resolve this please :)

Solution
After you reset the CMOS, did you change the boot priority?

It is not probably on DVD first. And since a HDD is now in there with no OS, this may be the reason.
so,if i understand you correctly, you get the boot manager missing error when the second hdd is plugged in but not if its disconnected?if so go into the bios and make sure your hdd with the operating system on it (your origional hdd) is set as the primary boot drive.it sounds like your pc is trying to boot to the hdd you added.

I tried it before plugging two HDD. it works fine, but when I reset the CMOS , this problem occurred..

What sort of HD is the secondary, and was it empty before you installed it?

You may need to set it to a different SATA mode within BIOS such as ATA or AHCI for the hard drive to detect properly. Be aware, when switching between SATA modes, it can corrupt your Windows boot partition (which you might have done when you reset the BIOS)

I was already using the secondary HD smoothly . then I have reset the CMOS because I want to resolve my issues on memory upgrade.

Note I used the another sata cable connection in the 2nd hard drive ..

By the way the secondary HD has a 1st partition containing system files. I reformatted it already. I was using this HD as a primary HD before. then I reformatted it.

And I got it working ! I just interchange the sata cable and all is working fine i think. i also adjust the boot priority . I interchange the sata cable because when I boot , the the bios cant detect the 1st hard drive , it just detect the 2nd one . so I interchange the cable. and It detected two.

Thank You
