how do i enable onboard graphics?

I just got my pc, and it doesn't have a gpu. It does however have an Intel i7 3770, is it possible for me to connect my hdmi cable from my tv to somewhere on my pc and have something display on the screen?

Mostly you just plug a monitor into the motherboard without having one plugged into the graphics card. Some old laptops you have to switch from pcie graphics in bios.

What is your PC? All of the builds we do at school start without GPUs and we run the benchmarks using the iGPU. The motherboard has video connectors on the back fir VGA?, HDMI, and/or DVI, usually.

If you are not sure, post a photo and we can tell you want to do.
