GTA V Launcher has stopped working

When I launch GTA V, my social club crashes and I get a generic windows error saying the launcher has stopped working.

Here are my specs:
Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz
8 GB Ram
GTX 660
500W Corsair PSU
Asus z97-a mobo
DirectX 11

I tried the following solutions:
-Restarted my PC
-Reinstalled GTA V
-Verified game cache
-Ran game as admin
-Ran GTA V launcher through game directory (says I have to run it through steam instead)
-Updated drivers
-Reinstalled social club
-Disabled antivirus/firewall
-Verified my DirectX and C++ are up to date
-Unplugged usb components
-Tried launching with just my mouse or keyboard
-Tried running Asia launcher
-Ran GTAV Launcher as admin
-Have the latest patches

I am also having the same error and have tried everything calabiscuit has tried and also the yotube videos are no good.
I had bough the game on MAY 5 but not able to play it yet.
If I select high performance from switchable graphics AMD for GTA 5 the game doesn`t launch at all. If I select power saving the game launches but gives error after 5 seconds the GTA 5 has stopped working. tried everything from youtube nothing works .I am playing all my other games at high or Max settings.
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH GTA 5.
MY specs are
Core i3 3217u
Amd radeon 7670m 1GB GDDR5 +Intel hd 4000
8 GB 1600Mhz ram and 200 gbs of free HDD. Total HDD 1000gb.
