Hello everyone, here are my specs.

I put this motherboard in about 3 months ago. It's working fine, but when I boot it up the CPU and DRAM LED's flash red, but everything still boots and works fine.

I'm just wondering what this could mean? Failing CPU, failing DRAM? Maybe a failing power supply?

Thanks if you can help me out,

Mike

This is probably wrong, but could it be because your memory is installed in the wrong slots? Do you have 1 8GB module or two 4 GB modules? Two would be more common, and I see that your memory is in single-channel mode, so you might have two in the wrong slots and only a single channel in use?

You may already know this, but when I boot up my PC those lights flash too. Then they go out. The motherboard shows the sequence of POST tests that are being done and, in my board's case, only indicates a problem if the light stays on after POST. Could it be that simple? Or do you remember that those lights did not come on during POST when you built it, or are they staying on after POST?

I have nothing but simple possibilities to offer.
