I would like to extend internet from my home to another building about 1000 feet away. There are trees between the buildings.

I am looking for suggestions to extend internet from my home to another building about 1000 feet away with some trees between the buildings. My knowledge is very limited when it involves this subject. I would like to go wireless if possible.

1000 ft with trees is questionable for wireless at best. You could try a pair of these --http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833168093 but the trees might attenuate the signal too much.

The 2.4Ghz will penetrate the trees better than 5Ghz but there are fewer clear channels in 2.4Ghz.
