Here are my PC Specs:
AMD A8-7600 Quad Core 3.1ghz w/ 3.8 boost
Amd Radeon R7 1 GB Graphics
8 GB DDR3 Ram

Will I be able to run GTA V smoothly AFTER I add in a Nvidia GTX Geforce 750 TI and if I can, at what settings?

Solution
Tom Tancredi - you're being a little too condemning of his components - he has what he has & is just trying to make the most of them.

jrxelite203 - I reckon adding a 750ti would give you decent performance in GTA v especially at 720p personally.
I would go for a r9 270 personally though as its similarly priced & a better card.

What motherboard are you running?? Are you certain you have the chip in 65w mode as some boards will default to 45w.

On a CPU upgrade front if you're adding a discrete GPU the the 7850k would be a silly choice - you'd be paying for integrated graphics you won't use.
The 860k is the chip you should be looking at.

Those anandtech benches are all at max settings & I would ignore them.

APUs are not gaming systems, they are made for low cost, low power, low demand 'average users' for Email, Websurfing, etc. The APUs do not even meet the minimum requirements http://www.geforce.com/games-applications/pc-games/grand-theft-auto-v/system-requirements .

That said, considering how low end the APUs are, even if you did get a 750TI (which is a very low end GPU) you would have to pair it to a i7 EE in order to get 30FPS as this benchmark shows http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2428094. As a APU is very very very much not even near a i7EE performance level, you wouldn't be able to or be in single digit FPS level with that hardware.

PC Gaming is expensive if you can't afford to replace your system (you need to replace CPU, the GPU, and that means PSU as well) then stick with a PS4, for only $200-400 you can play GTAV 1080P High @30FPS and many other titles at 60FPS plus you get free BluRayPlayer (3D!!), FREE Wireless Controller, FREE Gamer's Headset that is $200 alone you have to add on to any upgrade costs you would be considering when replacing your PC as well.

Care to check for yourself? Simply go to www.canIrunit.com and select the game and it will tell you how your computer stacks up.
REMEMBER: MINIMUM Means playing 1024x768 Low graphics and getting AT LEAST 15FPS
RECOMMENDED: Is the true 'gamer's experiance' as 'I saw on youtube'.

I've ran GTA V before on here with the current specs and have gotten on low settings with 1024x768 28-30 Average FPS. I run games like CS:Go, Minecraft, Saints row the third, injustice gods among us, batman arkham origins, unturned, the list goes on and they all run very smooth on my system. all these game altogether run at a range of 50-200 FPS.

GTA V isn't those other games your pointing to, and demands more, simply said. As I pointed to you can check for yourself on the requirements, and if your at minimum or below (as your just barely getting it to work " low settings with 1024x768 ") that is just completely a hardware issue, where you don't meet the RECOMMENDED requirements, and will not get any support from Rockstar till you do.

The way you stated some things seemed like you were trying to say I couldn't run alot of games. I know GTA V is demanding and I know it is a hardware issue that's why I'm looking to upgrade. The AMD A8-7600 Kaveri is meant for gaming. And soon I will be upgrading to AMD A10-7650K

This is a quote specifically from AMD here:
"AMD A10-7850K, AMD's most advanced APU, can take on Battlefield™ 4 or just about anything else you throw at it."

I'm planning to upgrade to the GTX 750 Ti which I may mention, I've watched reviews and benchmarks for the past few days and it has been able to perform well at 1080P on demanding games with smooth fps. I'm not saying I have the best gaming computer ever and I don't plan on playing at 1080P at ultra settings for every game, 720 and medium/high is perfect for me.

Just got my GTX 750 Ti and holy crap it is amazing. Everything you said here was completely false. I am able to play GTA V on 1080P High-Ultra Settings at 30-60 FPS. The point of the AMD's new Kaveri accelerated processing unit was to "revolutionize" PC Gaming. And GTX 750 Ti may be a low end card in your mind but it sure as hell gets the job done when playing high demanding games on high-ultra as it gets very good fps. If you don't believe me I am MORE THAN HAPPY to post some screenshots for you.

Did you have to upgrade anything before getting the gtx 750 ti? or did you use the stock motherboard and psu?
