Hard drive recently failed on me so i bought a new SSD. Now when trying to install windows 7 (via CD) on to this i get the error :

"A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy dis,CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert now"

Looked online, some answers say download the ISO and place onto USB, surely there's an easier less timely way to fix this ?

What driver do I need to download and install ?

Thanks in advance

I, for some reason, had my MOBO set to RAID in my BIOS. I changed it to Native IDE and it works :)) Hope this helps people :)

Also, if youre reading this and having trouble installing from USB and your MOBO can take USB3.0, put the USB in one of the USB2.0 slots should work fine ))

Hmm, did the new drive come with a disk? Might be on there or if you look up the Mother Boards website and find the drivers for that, might be under sata, you can burn them to a cd or put them on a flash drive might be a Raid driver or AHCI driver.
