Hi.
Whats the cheapest CPU i can put on a Ramapage V extreme?
I just need it to update the BIOS.
The current Bios doesnt detect my 5960x.

Or is there any way to update the BIOS without a CPU?

download the newest bios and the bios renamer.
unzip the bios renamer and bios file. then copy the ranamer into the bios unzip folder. run it and then opy the shorten .cap file to a usb stick. put the usb stick into the usb flashback port and press the usb flashback withthe mb power off. the flashabck light will blink then turn off.

Your board supports your CPU from the first bios, no need to update, there might be another problem. Make sure the power cable is connected properly to the top center 8 pin + 4 pin slots. Read board and cpu's manual before you do it

you will have to check all connection, describe what is happening, tell us what power supply do you have, how many cables from the power supply are connected and where they are connected, for someone to be able to help you
