Hi all, I looking for some suggestions for a cpu fan that is $100 or less. It would be nice if it looks good too for my NZXT case.

This is my build:
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (I plan to OC)
ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Professional ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB 100 Million Edition Video Card
NZXT Phantom 410 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case
EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

If you can fit it get the Noctua nh-d14. Its about $90 and has similar performance to 240mm aio's at a much quieter volume and no risk of leakage!

Seen people overclock the 4690k to 4.7ghz with it.

I did consider the Hyper 212 Evo with all the raving reviews. Maybe I'll buy it.

I checked Noctua's website compatibility list for my motherboard, this is what they said. "The cooler is extending over the first PCI-E x16 slot, so please use the other available PCI-E slot(s)."

All this means is that you need to put your gtx970 in one slot lower on your motherboard. Their will be negligible performance difference so it really has no effect.

I did check out the Noctua NH-D15. I've seen reviews where people say they are excellent, the only thing is that the colour might not be pleasing. But it's definitely one of my choices.

Oh I never knew that! It's my first time building a PC. Thanks for the tip! The Noctua is definitely one of my choices.

I think I'll go with the Noctua, considering I plan to OC to about 4.5GHz for a start. I want my CPU to stay as cool as possible. But I think I'll get the Noctua NH-D15.

Thank you to everyone who took their time to give me some suggestions! I really appreciate it!
