CPU-Z not showing overclock

I just overclocked my i5 4690k by .1ghz. just starting out. Realtemp says it at 3599mhz but it still says @3.5ghz in CPU-Z. Is my overclock active?

Are you using the performance power plan in Windows? If not try that and see if it shows the o/c after that.

yes im using the performance power plan. It does show core clock as 3600mhz in CPU Z and RealTemp though

Sounds like you disabled turbo boost. If you leave turbo on and increase by .1 Ghz you should be at 4.0 Ghz in performance mode.
