parts can generally bring bigger money, yes, but only if the parts are in demand.

for lower end components like you have it would be best to sell the whole thing as a single working unit.

for pricing, figure 20-25% drop in price for every 6 months that you have owned it and work from there. you're going to lose money on the investment, that much is assured.

there is steep competition on ebay and you need to worry about shipping or ebay taking about 16% commision. i would try selling on craigslist first provided you're in the usa. if you're not in the usa then you can try on any local classifieds or for sale pages people use.

Sell for parts or sell as a whole, I think parts may bring bigger profits.

either way, the trick is in presentation, make it look like it is worth every penny and then some, your computer case will help massively with this.

Thank you so much for this response the reason i am selling this is because recently bought a r9 280x MSI GPU and my CPU is bottlenecking it (being irritating) so I also bought a corsiar 750w PSU to power it and I was wondering if you could tell me the best parts other than the GPU and the PSU (so everything else) and my budget is £350 which is $529.85 so I would be very grateful if you could recommend me some parts (the CPU, motherboard, ram, storage,a case) thank you I really appreciate the response
P.s I would prefer Intel, thank you
