Will i5 3350p bottleneck a gtx 970 sli?

I plan to upgrade my rig big time, from a GTX 650 2 gb to one and then two Asus GTX 970. I just want to know if I will also have to upgrade my i5-3350p@3.1 GHz cpu in order for the cards to run at full potential.
Also does anyone know if getting a Corsair RM 750W PSU a long time before buying the graphics cards affect my power consumption a lot, or even damage something?

Do you have a multiple monitor setup or play at a res above 1080? if that's not the case you may want to re-consider using a SLI configuration for gaming, if you are using the computer for video editing and production in tools like AE, Maya, Mudbox, etc... you'll want to consider a 680, 780 or wait for 980 graphics card as they have more cuda cores and offer more raw power than the x70's.

Your i5 should be capable enough to run those 970 cards in a 2 way SLI configuration without issues, you should check your mobo make and model as it could be a restriction factor there.

Getting a new PSU will not damage anything as long as it is properly installed, about the power consumption it could be a bit higher specially if it's not a modular...

Thanks mate. I will use it just for gaming purposes at 1080p and later maybe higher, and I have only one monitor, but in case the games will get a lot more demanding over the course of the next few years (which I think is very possible), I will still go for the sli, to boost my performances, that implying changing the mobo and the case for better air flow
