BSOD STOP:124 Windows 7

Hi I built my own computer the other week and have been running into a blue screen error. I tried contacting Microsoft, but they were not very helpful. It is a STOP: 124 error. Spacifically the blue screen says STOP: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFFA800F391028,0x00000000BF800000, 0x0000000000200401). I ran a memory test in windows control panel and it found no problems, also all of my ram shows up in the BIOS. There should no overclock (I tried Gigabyte's easy tune on the processor once, but returned it to default.) I have an Intel i7 5960k, a GTX 980 Gigabyte Windforce, Gigabyte G1 motherboard, 4x4 Ripjaws RAM, Windows is on 250gb Samsung EVO SSD, and I have a WD Black 2TB hard drive. remove gigabyte easy tune overclocking software and see if you still bugcheck.

it did this when a program called SmiInfo.exe was running.
SmiInfo.exe appears to be gigabyte easy tune. (overclocking software)
