Should I get the Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core for gaming?

Hi there, anyway, I want to get this one because it looks pretty good on pricing. I have an AMD FX-6350 now. Should I get a different Intel better for the price and gaming? What do you guys think? I would like mostly $400 or below. I play pretty advanced games, like BeamNG.DRIVE.

Perhaps the game isn't optimized very well. If that's the only game you plan on playing then I would suggest an i7, but most...

If you're gaming, any i7 is completely unnecessary. Most games don't support the i7's full potential yet, and don't seem to be in the near future. If you're just going to be gaming then you don't need to invest all that much in the processor, certainly not $400. I recommend the i5 4690k for straight up gaming. You can overclock this one to a nice 4.0 ghz. If you plan on streaming or rendering videos I would just upgrade to the i7 of the same model.

Hope this helped!

Hey, I was trying to say that BeamNG.DRIVE is crazy advanced. even 4 core i7's have a hard time running it, including my laptop's i7.

It's still in alpha, but even then It's still optimized a lot. Would it really hurt to get the Hex core? I think it would last a while.
I do play soe 96 other games, but some like BF4 are also a little CPU intensive. Last, I think my AMD is bottle-necking my R9 270X.
Thanks for all the help.
