Hello, guys
I want to ask you : Can Athlon II x4 860k support PCIE 3.0 on motherboard ASROCK FM2A88X Pro3+ ???
because in the official site of asrock says that the PCIE 3.0 is supported by FM2+ APUs ??? and Athlon 860k is not an APU ,or ??
Thanks in advance

Athlon II x4 860k is not an APU, but it gets faster CPU cores in return for not having integrated graphics. If you use a dedicated graphics card (which you apparently intend to anyway) then it will be a faster CPU than any APU you can get for that motherboard. PCIE 3.0 is a chipset implementation and it will work on that motherboard regardless what CPU you use. The matter of fact is - it is completely irrelevant. Even old PCIE 1.1 x16 is still fast enough for basically any graphics card you can buy today. Buy any graphics card you like, provided your power supply is up to the task.
