Hi, I would like to build my own budget PC, mainly used for watching HD movies & playing HON & DOTA 2.
I would like some opinion about my build here --> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WKfzgs
I handpicked the motherboard, graphic card & ram myself, the rest I select based on price & popularity. I would like to keep it under $1k, am thinking the Gcard might be overkill/underused for HON/DOTA 2.
I am using a LED TV as monitor, connected via HDMI, & I intend to install Windows 10 on my new PC, so the price for that I'm not sure. I would also like to install budget liquid cooling for my PC, but I do not know where to select it. Appreciate some help there. Thanks!
Also forgot to add, I've reading up on differences between DDR3 & DDR4 rams. Any advice on whether I should use DDR3 or DDR4? This is for future forecasting, in case of new updates in softwares/hardwares/games needing DDR4 ram to process better. The best I garner so far is that DDR4 mainly consumes less power, the amount of which is negligible for personal computer. Better latency & Mhz speed, but i doubt i'll notice those too. I don't do graphics editing or video editing.
