Hi
I have a computer with a ssd of 24 gb. I got a hdd caddy and now I realize i will have 24gb + 120 gb ssd and then 500 gb SATA. Does it make any sense at all to do ssd caching with that 24 gb and install the os etc on the 120 gb or is that just useless? Just use that as some extra space?

Solution
If you going to use the 120GB ssd as system drive then it would be redundant (and could even slow down the system) to continue using the 24GB drive as cache. You could use it as normal drive or just leave it out completely (if you don't want to manage that extra drive).
