i keep getting bsod whenever playing any games. bf4 in particular. when i use the bluescreenview program it says that the driver at fault is ntoskrnl.exe. ive tried doing a memtest on the ram as well as running it one stick at a time. i've done a test on my hard drive, i also reseated all the cables and updated my videocard drivers as well as many drivers from my motherboard manufacture website but it is still giving bsod. this started when i upgraded from windows 7 to windows 8.1. i have since gone back to windows 7 but the problem persists. help pls :(

okay ive turned up all my case fans and the gpu and cpu fans to turbo. i also cleaned the inside of the pc and got rid of some dust. there wasnt much but there was some dust. i also turned down the settings a bit to make the workload less on my pc to make it run cooler as well. i did play for quite a while and it did not crash so i guess its so far so good. if it continues not crashing im gonna get a really good 3rd party cpu cooler. thanks for the response :)
