I have a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4. After purchasing and assembling parts for my gaming rig I noticed on the board itself it says under the PCIE X16_2 slot nVidia SLI. I purchased a XFX R9 280 but planned on upgraging to th R9 290x. Would I get anymore performance using nVidia as posted on my Mobo or can I continue with my initial plans?
