Hey peops,

Im using some software for my job that requires me to have the DVD in my drive when ever i need to use the program... obviously this is annoying and wastes time finding the disc and running it when i really need it running quickly. I ripped the disc to an ISO format then mounted it with a virtual drive however, when i run the program it pops up with a message saying "virtual drive detected" and will not let me progress.

My question is, Can i trick the program into thinking im using a real drive?

Cheers.

This seems to be a copy protection feature for the software and it is built to detect trying to go around this. Posting any methods to circumvent any copy protection on these forums is prohibited as far as I know so can't help you there. You could always ask whoever made the software for a more convenient copy protection method.
