PC rebooting while playing games.

I have a custom build pc. Most parts of the pc are about a year old. The pc has been fine up till around ten days ago. While playing games such as GTA V and CSGO my computer will randomly shutdown and start up again 20-30 seconds later. At first I thought it was a heat issue as my cpu was reaching temps of around 78 degrees Celsius. I solved this by buying a new aftermarket cooler (cooler master evo 212) and a new case with better airflow. Now while playing games my cpu stays below 60 and my gpu stays at around 75. Recently I found out that the reboots can sometimes be triggered by alt tabbing out of the game.

My specs are:
CPU - i5 4690
RAM - 8 gigs
Motherboard - Asus Z97-A
GPU - sapphire vapor-x r9 290x
HDD - 1TB Western digital and 1Tb Seagate
PSU - Cooler master V750 Semi-Modular

So far I have done a memory test and updated my bios but the problem still persists. I am beginning to suspect my psu is at fault.
Any help with solving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

In the event log under system there is a critical error:
Event 41, Kernel-Power
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
