Collda :
Im planning to buy the Sennheiser Game Zero and was wondering if i need a sound card or if my motherboard was good enough.
Surround sound is only for speakers. For headphones, all you need to do is plug in the 3.5mm headphone and mic jack, and your set. The MSI board has an above average audio circuit, so a sound card is only really worth an investment if you are a person who has a very good ear for audio (If you don't know what HD 598s are, or think Bose makes the best headphones, or don't know what drivers are, stick with the onboard audio. It'll be fine.).
