My mobo is on 120c but cpu is on 40c

i just built this budget build 1 week ago since i just got to philippines and will be using it for a while
i think something's broken because im pretty sure i won't be able to run my pc with that temp.
is there any way i can fix this?

Uh... 100c is boiling water temp, 120c things starts to melt, so you understated that things is not going to work.

U listing all those components is not useful. No electronic is gonna run at 120c unless they are specifically designed for some secret military project or something.

If you hope of getting any useful feeback you gotta tell us WHAT IS IT DOING? if anything at all. The CPU is the main source of heat on a motherboard, so if indeed it's at 40c (very normal) and your Mobo is at 120c, either the reading is wrong or you got a major short somewhere. If the machine seems to be running normally then I bet wrong reading/bad temp sensor, do a cold boot, even reset CMOS.
