MSI GeForce GTX 970 vs Asus Radeon R9 290X 4GB vs XFX Radeon R9 290X 4GB Double Dissipation

Hello, lately I've been looking at these parts and I need help deciding which one is better.
The build I'm using right now is http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Nr8NFT
I'm deciding between the MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card
the Asus Radeon R9 290X 4GB Direct CU II Video Card
and the XFX Radeon R9 290X 4GB Double Dissipation Video Card.
What graphics card do you think I should use?

970, runs cooler, has newer features, and performs better at most resolutions short of 4K.

+1 to Gam3r01 answer, GTX970 is the way to go unless you're planning for 4k res gaming, in that case the R9 290x is a better option as long as you intend to promptly crossfire it down the road.

I'd go the 970 Strix, I've got the 290X Matrix which is a great card, and have a HIS 290X on my Z87 and am planning to replace the HIS with a 970 Strix

The GTX 970 cost $60 more than the others, and I don't want to be paying $60 more for 2 more fps. Do you think the price difference is worth the fps increase.?

There is the price difference, also the 290X uses more power, and runs hotter. That was one reason I tried the HIS, it's the Hybrid water cooled version
