I have a Corsair Mid Tower with one Hot Swap bay. I did connect it. I also have 2 internal HD's. One has my OS installed on it. My question is, I also have a 450GB SSD with nothing on it. If I plug the SSD in the hot swap, is it possible to run, say a game with lots of mods from the SSD as long as the game itself and mods are stored on this SSD, eventhough it is in the hot swap bay?

Shouldn't be a problem. The hot swap bay pretty much functions as a device to contain the SSD. In your situation that SSD is simply a secondary HDD and as long as you've installed the game on the drive you shouldn't have any difficulty running your mods.

Sweet, thanks. I wasn't sure how it worked. I just thought it was only used for storage purposes only. It sure beats opening up the PC, add the power to it, run the wire management, insert it in bay, close the PC and viola. I can just plug and play.
