How can I get more Dedicated Video RAM?

Well I just recently bought this Toshiba laptop for about $700 and I kinda wanted to play this game but I don't think I have enough of Dedicated Video Ram.

Here are my specs if it will help -

Brand : Toshiba
Processor : Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5200U @ 2.20 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM) : 8.00 GB
Video Card : Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500
Hard Drive : 1 TB

Laptops have a very small and complex building system that a PC. Usually the dedicated graphics card is part of the mother board itself. Hence you cannot add or upgrade a GPU on a laptop.

Intel HD 5000 graphics should be able to play quite a few games on low-med settings but will not be able to play GPU intensive games (which mostly are)

Either buy a PC or change your laptop for a one that has a GPU.

You should be able to change the allocated ram to the igpu in the BIOS

The current gpu is ok for games but not the best as it is ig. This will be part of your cpu which won't be upgradable. The maximum you can do is upgrade ram and storage. Only high end laptop have this feature.

I also have this problem, and I have a lenovo edge 15.. They typically dont let you change that from the BIOS

A lot of external graphics cards have been showcased this year. But you arent going to get much more out of your iGPU in all honesty..
