Hi, was wondering if anyone could let me know which component I should upgrade first.
My specs are:
i3 2120 3.3GHz
8GB RAM
120GB SSD
ASUS Radeon HD 6770

This is a pretty old computer, ik.
I currently get 50fps on gta singleplayer, but online i get a lot of stuttering, but I was wondering what I should upgrade first, the CPU or the GPU? Thanks!
Would like to get a i5 4790k or GTX 670/R9 270x/280x.

In reality you need both a cpu and a gpu upgrade. Getting a new gpu will increase average fps but the stuttering wont dissapeer and getting a new cpu wont fix the low fps but will fix the stuttering.

Why not just upgrade to a used Core i5 2500 and a used GTX 670 FTW Edition for only $$253. That way you could get it all at once. The Core i5 2500 is still a great CPU. My cousin has one and it still games just about as well as my Core i5 4690K when both are at stock speed.
