Intel core 2 duo, e8500(3.16 Ghz)
GTX 750(not ti, zotac), 2gb GDDR5 RAM
5.00(DDR2) GB RAM
1680x1050 monitor

I dont understand why it runs so badly D: D: Help please!!!

Make sure you don't use mods, they demolish performance on that game.

(if you consider them mods) i have 2 or 3 expansion packs. But whats weird is that it will run great(60+ fps) on my older gateway laptop

That game seems very poorly built. Some of the expansions made it worse too.

My girlfriend has bad lag at times(sometimes the game actually freezes, but animations like water falls keep on running normal) with an i7 920 @ 3.8ghz 12 gigabytes of memory and a 5870 video card. It is not top end system, but should be fine for the game.

I was told it became much worse when the apartment expansion came out.

No, I didn't mean the expansions. But if you are a gamer then you might want to upgrade sometime to a DDR3 platform with an i5 or AMD equivalent processor. I think you'd be impressed with the performance leap.

I had those for a while, but i figured out what those were. They were being caused by the antivirus for some reason.
