Looking For The Best Hard Drive Enclosure!

Been searching around for a External Hard Drive Enclosure and I don't know what would be the best for me.

Things I'm looking for

•Reliability
•Minimal Noise
•eSATA
•1-4Bay

What do you plan to use it for?

I'll be storing footage from when I record and plan on editing from it.

Price range $30-250

If you have alternative solution for External Storage please let me know Below! Thanks

I prefer docks over enclosures since it's much easier to manage the hard drives vs. screwing/unscrewing drives if you ever needed to swap hard drives.

AFAIK, external enclosures equipped with *only* an external eSATA interface have virtually disappeared from the market.

Virtually all the external enclosures that contain eSATA capability are also USB capable. And even those are a dying breed. There's virtually zero demand for eSATA connectivity any more; USB 3.0 is pretty much the only external interface that external enclosures now contain.

I haven't had any experience with any of them. The last external enclosure I used that had eSATA capability also had USB 2.0 external interface.

eSATA faded as a necessity since USB 3.0 happens to be fast enough for most mechanical hard drives.
