I'm planning to buy a low profile GPU for my desktop (Lenovo ThinkCentre M58e 7306)

4.0 GB Ram DDR2
PCI express slot

Power supply:
Tower 280 Watt Robust/80plus
Type 110/220 volt (50/60Hz), 280 Watts
Type(ES4) - only 280w 80+/110/220 volt (50/60Hz), 280 watts

Is this good enough to run a SAPPHIRE HD 6450 1GB DDR3 without having any issues?

The HD 6450 draws 26 watts at peak power and is designed to receive all of its power from the PCIE slot. Your power supply should be sufficient.

you're probably correct, 400w doesn't seem right. i have a vtx 6450 in an old dell with a 275w or maybe 235w psu.
could be sapphire erring on the side of caution?
