best gpu for my build Under 250$

Processor:Amd A-10-6800k Apu with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4CPUs), ~4.4GHz
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Current Graphics card (want to upgrade): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti 3623mb

IF anyone could help me decide i would appreciate it i have about 270$ i can spend Thank You

There is not really a point going higher than something like R9 280 before get CPU bottlenecked. It will cost you around 200$ and extra 70$ spend on SSD for example.

Why would i need to get a ssd just wondering? and a r9 280 would be the best choice for my build just want to make sure before i spend the money? Any point on upgrading my cpu?

You might have to buy a new PSU and (per Undying) on a lot of games, your CPU would bottleneck a good graphics card.

SSD will improve overall system performance. It will feel alot more snappier and responsive. 280 is a good choice, its very capable and have enough Vram, cant go wrong there. What PSU do you have btw?

Depends on what you get

A R9 290 need 650W. R9 280X 600W, R9 280 550W. But from a good quality power supply - per tiers 1 or 2 of http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html#xtor=EPR-8886

Its a 'no name' psu - very poor quality. I wouldn't use it for more than a gtx960.

okay so im going to get the Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Tri-X Video Card, a ssd, and upgrade my power supply 650 t1 or t2 And i should be good and have better performance?

Hes right, not enough for 280. Your stuck with 960 but idk if upgrade is justified over 750ti. Its your call...

If your CPU doesn't bottleneck much you should get nearly twice the fps.

With the new graphics card check the CPU usage in Task Manager. If it gets to 100% then its bottlenecking.

okay thanks man for the answer and helping me with my build! I was kinda thinking about the XFX Radeon R9 290 just because its better for a little more will everything still be okay if i decide to get this one with a 650wat psu
