Hi,

So a week ago, I have bought the Belkin N750 DB (Which is supposed to be a good gaming router with QoS) to replace my low-end Korean wireless router which has been doing OK, but has a few problems with connectivity every now and then.

So I have connected the "Super" router to my modem, configured it and connected to it, and here are the results:

    ■ Many lags in games and huge packet loss rate, and after a while of online gaming, the wireless bandwidth rate would decrease from 72.5 Mbps to 1 Mbps and the lag spikes increases dramatically. (DotA 2, Contract Wars, CrossFire and some other online games)
    ■ Blocks websites automatically for no specific reason. (At first I thought it was a DNS problem, but I tried adding Google DNS and OpenDNS to both the router and my computer)
    ■ The router's HTTP server closes down suddenly (Sometimes after changing any setting from the control panel) for no reason and I can't access the router's control panel until I do a hard factorial reset to the router.
    ■ The IntelliStream thingy is 100% useless. (Done a few tests with it, nothing changes)
    ■ The auto channel selection is bad, it sometimes chooses the most used channel around it. (Currently it is on Channel 6, and the 4 other (And only) neighbors use channel 6 and channels 7 and 5)

Note: Changing the channel doesn't benefit too much.
Note 2: I have updated the router firmware to the latest.

Best regards

But that Belkin model is still being sold now, and not for a cheap price, it should perform at least as a normal router should.

By the way, the modem has IP of 192.168.3.1 and DHCP starting at 192.168.3.100. (Subnet mask 255.255.255.0)
The Belkin router has an IP (In its own network) of 192.168.2.1 (Subnet mask 255.255.255.0), but gets 192.168.3.100 from the modem. On my computer I can access the modem's control panel (Which is 192.168.3.1), but I can't access my own router's IP (Also my gateway) which is 192.168.2.1, is there anything I have done wrong?

PS set the Belkin IP to 192.168.3.99 (based on your last post). That's outside the DHCP range of your other modem/router so will never be in conflict.

Also you should probably turn off the wireless of your modem/router (if it has wireless), unless you are using the Belkin as an extender of your wireless range.

Your access point configuration solved many of the issues.

The problem with the Belkin control panel seems to be a bug when I turn off the WPS, I can't access the control panel until I reset.

Thanks
