Hi I tried to turn my computer on this morning to find out it powers up but refuses to post, keyboard wouldn't respond like it wasn't getting power, so I ended up taking my computer apart and stuck the bare essentials in still no luck tried a different PSU a different motherboard different GPU different CPU different ram different HDD/ssd tried resetting the bios on both motherboards and clearing the CMOS tried breadboarding to see if it was the case and still have the same issues I even tried a different CPU cooler and still no luck it just turns on and doesn't post I can't pinpoint what the problem is and I was wondering if anyone here could give me some advice here are the specs

CPU: i7 4790k
GPUs: 2 gtx 980's and used an amd 7950
Ram: hyperx beast 16gb and corsair vengeance pro series 8gb
PSU: corsair cx850m and a 680 watt PSU can't remember the name be quiet or something
Motherboard: gigabyte ga-z97x-sli (rev 1.0)

it seem like, you did everything there to be done,i would just add, clean your rams, static energy can be a problem too.

edit:nvr mind you tried different ram.

i would use all the parts you loan/bought? to build a pc then, try your old parts on it.
