I Need to Transfer large amounts of data from a internal hardrive to a external hardrive and windows 8 won't let me because the data amount is too large. The Data are videos so I can't split it up and it will only let me copy small amounts up to a certain amount of mbs while I really need to move a couple hundred gbs

Hi there NUMB3R,
Most probably your HDD's file system is FAT32 which has a limitation of a maximum file size of 4GB. You just need to go to Disk Management and format your drive to NTFS. Just keep in mind to back up all the data stored on it before that.
