Hello i'm looking to upgrade to a New PC pretty much, $1300 is around what i want to spend can probably go a little higher. I have a PC already but I built that one myself with no real knowledge, its been running everything alright I suppose but now I want to kick things up a notch. I could probably reuse the Power Supply and RAM and the OS to make this a bit cheaper but i'm no expert. I've got CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) RAM, CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W Power Supply, and windows 7 but I suppose I can upgrade to 10 for free when that comes out. I also have CM Storm Stryker Case but if that doesn't work well with the new stuff I don't mind replacing it.

Solution
Definitely keep you RAM and Case. Sell the old PSU since with 1300 bucks you can make a great rig so youll need a good power supply and the enthusiast series has fallen in reviews.

CPU and MB combo from Micro Center

I-7 4790 K with Gigabit Z97x Gaming for 380$
Samsung Evo 850 Pro Seires SSD 256 GB 180$
Optical drive is your preference. a basic one is 20 bucks these days.
Asus Geforce GTX 970 4GB Gddr5 340$
Corsair Hydro Series H110 Extreme Cooling 130$
EVGA Supernova 750w power supply Gold Rated 115$

Totals out at 1145. This would be a great system. Windows 7 is gonna be just fine and your chassis are good too.

Good LUCK
