Microphone resets to 100% PLEASE HELP :(

Hi,
I have a problem with my mic as the title says. I want to set my microphone volume to 50% but when I do, it ALWAYS at any point resets at 100%. I have been searching for months with no solution. Can anyone please help me how I can ,,lock'' my microphone Volume at 50%? Maybe a command with nircmd? I use Windows 7 Pro. Its really frustating to record with shadowplay (Nvidia's recording software) and my mic is like 2x or 5x louder than everything else!

Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording (tab) -> Right-click Microphone -> Properties -> If there is no volume option, go to boost and decrease it if it is increased.

Sorry its called "Levels" tab

Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording (tab) -> Right-click Microphone -> Properties -> Levels

You will find the Microphone level there and the boost.

Forget the boost. You can set Mikrofon's level to whatever you want and it should never change back to 100% again. Just set the Mikrofon to 25% or 30% and see if that fixes your problem.

I did, but it doesnt like that

After time without playing it goes from 50% to 48%. so that means it adjusts itself without using an microphone acquired application.

And it can adjust itself from 50% to 100% whenever it feels like to do -_-
