Weird Front-Panel USB 3.0 Problems

The front panel USB 3.0 ports on my CM Storm Enforcer do not seem to be functioning correctly. I have both the USB 3.0 controllers for Intel and Asmedia on my new Maximus VII Formula. I just uninstalled and updated both of them, but the two front ports will still not recognise anything.

I know they are working because when my Seagate Backup Plus was plugged in, the LED indicator lit up and the drive platter was actually moving (I could feel the vibrations). The Backup Plus could not be formatted or even seen in device manager. It worked fine before this. The USB 3.0 Header is securely in place on the appropriate connector, and the Header itself seems to be working, because it was successfully powering my external HDD. I have no idea why this is happening.

No other devices will successfully work (or be recognised) by the two front USB 3.0 ports. I have the drivers installed. I do not know if any other devices will also receiving any power, because they lacked indicators. I do know only know, as said previously, that the Backup Plus drive was receiving adequate power from the two front USB 3.0 ports when plugged into each. In the Uefi, I cannot find many options relating to USB. There seem to be none relating to front USB 3.0 ports at all (this is on a Maximus VII Formula - which is a Z97 Asus board). Should I try updating the Uefi?

Solution
You can go into the device manager and delete them there and when you exit Windows will auto detect them and reinstall them.

Are you sure the USB 3.0 motherboard header is completely seated into the motherboard socket?

Are you sure you have the USB 3.0 headers turned on in the Bios?

If a device is getting powered by those ports, does that mean they are working, but just won't recognise it? Do you think it is an internal header problem? Speaking of that, my Flash Drive didn't light up when it was plugged into those front 3.0 ports, so apparently only certain devices are receiving power? No idea.

I just updated my Bios. Nothing changed here either...ugh. Where do I delete the hub and headers? Will Windows reinstall them correctly? What actually could potentially be the issue here?

I don't believe I had any Windows updates in a while, at least, not before upgrading my system.

I cannot find an actual option in the UEFI to enable or disable the front USB 3.0 ports. Only individual ones, which in this case, is not what I'm looking for. This is an Asus Z97 bios. If you can tell me where such an option can be found, please. I looked through pretty much everything and I did not see anything like that.

I will check the USB 3.0 Header again. Last I checked, it was fully immersed in it's header/socket. Some pins were bent in the process initially, but I did unbend them straight again. Enough that the header was able to fit and "click" fully on.

I'm afraid not.

I don't know exactly what did it, but I pulled in and out (you know where this is going...) and the header, from the start, seemed like it was well balanced in there.

When I booted up, two USB inputs were detected!! I assume my uninstallation of a few of the USB 3.0 hubs in Device Manager detected it on reboot. Thanks guys!! The two front USB 3.0 panels seem to be working beautifully!! :)

I love a happy ending. ;^D

As do I, haha! (lol this is getting weird...).

To be honest, the header felt a little more girthy when I was sliding it back in forth. Am I envisioning things? Surely this cannot be?!!
