Sorry if this is the wrong forum, not sure where I should post this!

SPECS:
OS: Windows 7 64bit
GPU: GeForce GTX 550ti (Gigabyte)
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-770T-USB3
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1x4GB DDR3
PSU: Not sure on the exact model, Apevia 700w
Rundown of the problem: I mainly play Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and I did for about a year and 2 months on this computer (daily, maybe 2-3 hrs.) About a month ago, my PC would shut off about 7-10 seconds after launching games ( Diablo 3, Path of Exile, CS: GO, etc.). I don't think its an overheating issue, because my temps are about 30c before I launch. Is it most likely my PSU? It's what I am thinking is the issue since I have to switch it off for about 5 seconds or else it won't boot up again.

This definitely sounds like a power issue. Can also be a CPU issue (but since you said your temps were good, that leaves power) If it was the CPU then the system should have frozen. RAM the same thing applies. software issue then the system restarts. So yes, this points to a PSU failure.
If you have many HDDs connected disconnect the one you dont need (to check if issue reoccurs)
And try a different power socket.
Check PSU fan is working correctly. (there are a few PSU checker online)

If possible try arranging a temp PSU to check for the recurrence of the problem.

Not sure if I will be able to get my hands on another PSU without ordering one online. I'll probably have to do that. Thanks for your reply
