Hello all,

This is my first post on this forum. Great to be here!

Can anyone help me with this? I'm pretty sure it started happening after a Windows Update three weeks back. I tried to do a System Restore only to find out that there were no Restore Points created :S Really weird. Here's the error :

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: MixedInKey.exe
Application Version: 4.0.1.2
Application Timestamp: 0000001f
Fault Module Name: KERNELBASE.dll
Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.18798
Fault Module Timestamp: 5507b485
Exception Code: e0434f4d
Exception Offset: 0000c42d
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

Please do help!

Regards,

That MixedInKey is very likely a virus, run a full virus scan with Malwarebytes and also I would use a boot disk with a scanner like once that Avira and AVG have for free on their sites. It may also be a DJ software, if you have that installed, uninstall and re-install it.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I totally forgot to mention that Mixed In Key is a software I use almost daily & whenever I try to open it now is when I am encountering that error message. All other apps work fine.

Also, I have tried sfc/scannow but no errors. I've also uninstalled, deleted, reinstalled that app including some older versions. Just not happening!

What would be the next step? :S
